Conveniently located next to the road and with free parking. Park the car, devour some delicious sush and then stroll the street for some ice cream.

Very reasonable prices, nice staff, and certain items prepared on order. I had 8 plates and had to give up. I wish I could have eaten more!

Very good quality and value for money sushi shop. Plates starting from 130yen and choices are plenty. English/Chinese/ Korean menu available as well if you want to order. Short queues during lunch time but moves fast

The fish was not so fresh if compared with Sankaku Market. The price was reasonable. Suggest to order by writing on the paper. Can try but not highly recommended.

Food was really so so, service ok

The fish want as fresh as some other places, but it was still very good. Plates were relatively cheap - 200 yen (about 1.5 Euro) for 2 pieces of salmon or tuna sushi. The vegetarian sushi was even cheaper - about 150 yen, and was absolutely delicious. For me, this was the start of the show. Aubergine sushi and egg tempura, both delicious. Staff, as usual, were great! I also had a squid dish and my total bill for 5 plates was 900 yen (about 7 Euro)

Sooo delicios, very fast service and great quality, all fish was so fresh, usually these train- sushi types if restaurants don’t serve the best quality fish but they focus on lower prices, this restaurant is an exception for sure, try milt sushi ( shirako in japanese) for new experience, suoer yummy Line is long, but don’t worry, it goes fast

Wait for like 10 mins on Friday night, descent food for such value.

Sushi are testy and fresh. Prepare to wait for more then 30min during busy hour.

famous place but nothing special to me. the taste was good . just good affordable. if the waiting line is very long... I think no need to wait. There are similar shisi restaurants around

Fantastic place

Tasty sushi with awesome service. Perfect for the coldest of weathers. We were a bit late (19:30) and the belt didn't have many options left, but all our orders swiftly arrived.Bluefin belly could've been fatter, but for its price it made total sense. Highly recommend the bbq miso silver flatfish, and the crab with salmon roe. Also, order your steamed egg before it runs out!Waiters and waitresses were way too polite it actually made me feel embarrassed for spending their time. Thanks for a great night.P.S. First restaurant / shop in Otaru I found, with warm tap water in the washroom. It's more important than you could imagine.

Only had a short wait at lunch time on a Sunday. Wide selection, decent quality, very reasonable prices, great service, English menu, child friendly. Perhaps could have had a slightly wider variety of hot foods.

The foods were so fresh. Uni was the best sushi in there. There is always waiting line. You should avoid peak time.

Best conveyor belt sushi we had in Japan! Variety in plates ranging from 130 yen (before tax) to ~500 yen. All very fresh and chefs are quick to make additional items ordered. If you’re looking for casual, or even just excellent value sushi, you won’t be disappointed! Very delicious!

Great place. Sushi is fresh. Chefs are quick to in making the sushi you ordered. Cozy place. Not so much interaction with the staff though. Overall it is great. Will definitely go back.

Cheap and cheerful sushi place. Will be a better experience than having sushi at another sushi chain Sushi Zanmai. However, the queue can be really long at times. Overall, if I am to find myself at Otaru again, I will go to the small local sushi standing sushi stalls to get my fill of sushi as those are the real deal when it comes to sushi.

Good taste and service

Been here when snowing storm hit us at the moment. Had sushi at lunch time, there are many lines in this restaurant during lunch time. Actually this is kaiten sushi restaurant type so u can take any kinds of sushi on the roller wheel in front of your seats. The price is different based on a color of a plate. U can pick from the cheapest one for the simplest sushi until the most expensive one like sea urchin sushi. The taste was very nice. U can try many kinds of fresh raw sushi here. Recommended..

Wakaru is the absolute best conveyor belt sushi restaurant in all of Japan and Hokkaido. I have been to many places, but this is the best. Large quality pieces. Do not miss this place, you will not regret it. It was a surprise to find such quality place in Otaru, better than the popular ones in Sapporo station. My favorite, I would go again and again. Mostly locals and busy. Some menu in multiple languages.

I tried four different Sushi restaurants this time in Sapporo and Otaru. This is worst provided the price point and food quality. I recommend Toriton instead. It is the best!

Sushi here is alright. It's a tourist town so prices are on the higher end. And there's a long wait. Overall i don't think it's worth the wait. You can get much better stuff in Sapporo.

I arrived there 11.05 but still has to wait. Not too long and worth waiting. Price is reasonable and taste good.

Good variety but the sushi wasn't the freshest or tastiest. Not too pricey, though.

Second time in three years. Reasonable price with fresh and good tasting sushi.
